My favorite photo, ever, until I took the one of Evie and Bella last October anyway.
As taken:
With Photoshop:
I don't know which I prefer.
Wanted to be creative tonight, resorted to old photos since neither muse nor opportunity were forthcoming.
Craving creativity but none is forthcoming. I am without substance.
I hope she doesn't mind I'm posting this on my blog but I'm kinda proud of it. I'm especially proud because the minute prior I took a picture of myself in shadow and she said, "Oooo! Take one like that of me!" and I was afraid I couldn't because A) I was drunk and B) it was an accident. Seems I pulled it off. I Photoshopped her a little bit but I think it looks fantastic as it adds to the mysteriousness of the composition.

From a couple of weeks ago. I posted them on my Facebook but not here, so now that that's been remedied: these are for Kristy who liked the surrealist one below and for mentioning me in her blog even though I don't have a public writing blog. Thanks, Kristy!
I've got nothing better to do today except try not to be sick, might as well look through pictures and practice being better friends with Photoshop.
So here's "Burlesque Me" from the other night. The wig is named Flora Louise after Louise Brooks.
I was on a platform behind a stage that was ordinarily a guy's bedroom. I set the camera on his bed and ran really fast across the room against the wall before the ten second timer went off. [I was by myself and a little drunk while I did this, which would explain why I forgot to make sure the camera didn't take itself off of monochrome for the first shot. I usually don't like myself in color. ;0]
This was the second shot, and I put the camera back on monochrome. In this one post-production, I fixed Louise's hair, the skuzzy ends of my lace gloves, and removed a wristband and also an annoying spot on the wall behind my head in Photoshop:
I hate Photoshop, but I think I did okay with it. :)
I'm sick again...and playing with Photoshop.
I am going to try to post things a little bit bigger provided they don't run into the column on the right. I meant to do that at the start of January (new year, clean post start date) but forgot.

I'm not allowed to post anything I shot last night but I hope that since there's nothing really identifiable in this picture that I won't get in trouble with the party mafia.
I liked the color.
Because I'm dieting like madwoman this week to fit into *my* corset by next Saturday, I remembered that I had shot about 1000 pictures of a man wearing one...
From last May...because I never uploaded any of these for some reason.
An experiment with the fake ghost thing in color since the oranges match my hair. *shrugs* I think it still works better in black and white but I take too much stuff in black and white, particularly pictures of myself.
[I keep adding things that really don't show up small. Sorry. Especially you people with small screens who don't like to click on the images to enlarge them. You'll just have to take my word for the fact that my hair matches the oranges...or maybe that there are oranges in this picture at all?]
I know better than to try to take pictures when it's dark, but...
caw caw caw caw caw caw caw caw caw caw caw caw.

There are other shots where the moon is bigger or more visible, but I decided I liked it lost among the branches in this composition- however, it *must* be seen large to appreciate it. In other words, you really *should* click for detail!
